Members of the KBGH have access to a number of discounted services that are shown to lower costs, which you can learn more about on the Initiatives page. Members also receive discounted registration to our annual conferences, unlimited free attendance to all of our educational offerings, access to the resources available from the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchasers, and much more! Membership dues depend on the type and size of your organization, and range from $500 – $1500. You can learn more about the different membership levels, the benefits of membership, and submit a membership application on the Become A Member page.

Members can pay their dues by check or with a credit card through our online payment system. Payment must be received before any access is granted and before the end of your membership in order to keep your account active. If you are paying by check, please send a check to:

We are always looking for ways to collaborate with organizations in the community, whether you are a members or not. Yes. Although we are not an insurance provider, we do have options available to help small employers become self-insured, while mitigating risk.

The difference between the two insurance models lies in who pays the bills. Employers who are fully-insured have all of their claims paid by a traditional insurance carrier (ie, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, etc), and pay a flat-rate premium. Employers who are self-insured pay all claims, via a third party administrator (TPA) While the potential risk of being self-insured can be higher, the opportunity for savings is also greater.
